The I&C EMPOWERMENT ZONE, INC.
In 2020, our Prom Dress Fairy Project was launched on a large scale. Redan Recreation Center helped us host young ladies from 12 area high schools in Georgia who were in search of the perfect prom dress. We were happy to provide 528 dresses. To date, our Prom Dress Fairy Project continues at Redan Recreation Center where we have hosted over 3000 young ladies from more than 31 high schools in Georgia; Alabama, Kansas, Rhode Island, Florida and the US Virgin Islands.
Every year, we are blessed to have over 60 volunteers from Greek lettered organizations, community members and returning participants that would like to help a young lady fulfill her prom dress dreams. We are lucky to have repeat volunteers. This year will more than likely be more exciting than the last.

2 best friends from Clarkston High School attended. Each of them came away with 2 dresses a piece, as none of us could decided which was the best.

Not only do the young ladies get to choose a beautiful gown, but they also had the chance to select a pair of shoes, makeup, jewelry and other accessories.
